How Much Does Psychedelic Therapy Cost?

The cost of psychedelic therapy in the UK can vary widely depending on the provider, the number of sessions required, and the type of therapy involved.

At Eulas Clinics, a full six-week programme begins at £6,000, and this is inclusive of assessments, therapy sessions, and psychotherapy integration. We also offer payment plans, which start from £177 per month (6.2% APR), making treatment more accessible for a wider range of people.

When considering psychedelic therapy cost, it’s important to view it as a comprehensive mental health investment. Our psychedelic therapy programmes are tailored, medically supervised and designed to help you experience meaningful change.

What Affects the Price of Psychedelic Therapy Treatment?

Psychedelic therapy pricing is influenced by a variety of factors, including:

  • Setting and supervision: Treatments administered in a medically monitored environment with a psychiatrist and anaesthetist on hand will naturally cost more than loosely supervised alternatives.
  • Therapeutic support: Programmes that include psychotherapy, integration sessions, and regular follow-ups offer better outcomes but come at a higher cost.
  • Treatment frequency: Some individuals may require more sessions depending on the severity of their symptoms and personal response to treatment.
  • Location: Clinics in major cities or private healthcare settings may charge more due to overheads required to provide high-quality care.

At Eulas, we prioritise safety, personalisation, and clinical excellence, which is reflected in our pricing structure.

Our Clinics

At Eulas, we provide specialist psychotherapy programmes through established our clinic bases across Scotland and London.

Our Psychedelic Therapy Programme

We’ve designed a supportive, guided process to make engaging with psychedelic therapy a smooth and empowering experience.

Although each individual’s experience is different, here’s what to typically expect in six simple steps.

1. Online Welcome Consultation

Your path starts with a confidential remote consultation. During this session, we gather information about your mental and physical health, explore your reasons for seeking treatment, and discuss your previous care experiences.

It’s also an opportunity for you to gain clarity on the process and ask any questions. After this session, we’ll determine whether this treatment path is clinically appropriate for you.

2. In-Clinic Psychiatric Evaluation

You’ll then meet with a licensed psychiatrist at one of our clinic locations. In this appointment, a psychiatrist will:

  • Carry out a comprehensive mental health evaluation
  • Talk you through the therapeutic potential and any risks of psychedelic therapy
  • Consider your medication history and current wellbeing

This session ensures that our approach is tailored, ethical, and aligns with best clinical practices.

3. Therapy Readiness Sessions

Before any dosing takes place, you’ll take part in two therapy readiness sessions. These one-on-one discussions, held either online or in-person, help prepare you emotionally and mentally. Your therapist will work with you to explore:

  • Key life themes and areas of distress
  • Your expectations and intentions for treatment
  • Techniques for emotional regulation and support

These sessions lay the groundwork for a more effective and meaningful therapeutic process.

4. Psychedelic Sessions

You’ll attend four in-clinic sessions where psychedelic is administered under strict clinical supervision. Each session begins with:

  • A short emotional check-in and intention setting
  • A calming practice to support a relaxed mental state

Throughout, both a clinician and therapist are present to guide you through the experience. These sessions often unlock deep emotional insights or shifts in perspective that can help catalyse healing.

5. Post-Session Integration Therapy

Following each session, you’ll attend an integration session designed to help you make sense of your experience. This is a time to:

  • Process your emotional responses and insights
  • Draw connections between the session and your broader mental health goals
  • Begin transforming breakthroughs into personal growth

Integration work is central to maintaining and building on the therapeutic benefits of psychedelic treatment.

6. Closing Review & Next Steps

Once your core treatment is complete, you’ll meet again with your therapist for a final review session. In this meeting, we’ll:

  • Reflect on the emotional and psychological shifts since beginning treatment
  • Reassess your wellbeing and treatment goals
  • Identify ongoing support options or next-phase therapies

For many, this leads to continued therapy, wellness planning, or supportive check-ins that further strengthen outcomes.

Is Psychedelic Therapy Covered by Insurance in the UK?

Currently, psychedelic therapy is not widely covered by most UK health insurance providers, as it is still considered an emerging treatment in many contexts.
Some private insurers may reimburse parts of the psychotherapy or assessment components, depending on their specific policies.
We recommend checking directly with your insurance provider to confirm your eligibility and benefits. Our team is happy to provide itemised receipts to support your claims where possible.
