Michael initially trained as a nurse in his native Australia, specialising in critical care. He has broad experience in all aspects of emergency nursing including major trauma, resuscitation, medical and surgical minor injuries. He has completed the post graduate Certificate in Emergency Care and since travelling to live full time in the UK he has worked as a specialist nurse in the field of addiction.
